Privacy Policy

dLD Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to all visitors to dldtech.com.au and anyone who submits their details through our booking or contact forms.
2. What personal information we collect
- Contact details — your full name and email address, collected when you book a strategy call.
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, clicks, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level), collected automatically via analytics tools.
- Cookie data — see Section 6 for full details.
We do not collect sensitive information (as defined by the Privacy Act) and we do not collect payment information.
3. How we collect personal information
- Directly from you when you complete the booking form (name and email).
- Automatically when you browse our website (analytics and cookies).
4. Why we collect and use your information

We will not use your personal information for any purpose that you would not reasonably expect.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We may share your personal information with the following categories of third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and business:
- Booking & scheduling tools — to manage strategy call appointments.
- Analytics providers — to measure website usage (e.g. aggregated, anonymised data).
- Email & communication tools — to send booking confirmations.
We require all third parties to handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs. Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives equivalent protection. Our primary service providers may store data in the United States or the European Union.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses the following types of cookies:

7. Data retention
- Booking data (name & email) — retained for 24 months from the date of collection, then securely deleted unless you have become a client.
- Analytics data — aggregated and anonymised after 14 months.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
9. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act and APPs, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal obligations).
- Opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time.

10. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the OAIC:

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
